Open space provides platform for folks to get-together and introduce thoughts, and, take away ideas while building off of one another's knowledge and creativity.

Anyone who has valuable information on Agile to share is a candidate for open space. We encourage interactive sessions providing opportunities to explore ideas and techniques. Sessions don't need to be formal, in fact, it's more fun if they are not! So let go of your PowerPoint presentations and just show-up at Open space to share, exchange, discuss and learn.

Schedule & Submissions

The conference constitutes of four back to back open space slots of 15 minutes each, which includes time for introduction, presentation, Q&A and changeover. Please indicate your preferred speaker slot while submitting your open space proposal.

Any two open space slots out of available four will be pre-selected before the conference and the remaining two slots will be decided on the day of the conference.

Individuals can submit any number of open space proposals via any one of the two simple methods –

Pre Conference Submission Method

If you've already made your mind to organise an open space then submit your online proposal for same latest by June 16, 2014.

Submission, Screening & Final Selection Process
  1. Submission of online open space proposal latest by June 16, 2014
  2. Selection and screening of all submissions by the conference technical board
  3. On July 04, 2014, the presenter of top two selected proposals will be notified and invited to host their open space in person at the conference
  • Provides adequate time to promote your session to other people interested in the conference and increase chances of getting selected for a confirmed slot at the conference
  • The presenter of top two selected open spaces will receive complimentary conference pass to attend the conference and host their open space
Deadline for Pre Conference Submission of Open Space Proposals Closed on June 16, 2014. The top two proposals shortlisted for the conference will be announced on July 04, 2014.

On-Site Registration

On-site registration will be accepted on first come first basis depending on availability of seats on the day of the conference.

Conference Payments / Cancellations / Refunds / Transfers
  • All confirmed but unpaid registrations need to pay at the conference venue
  • Registration without payment will not be authorised to attend the conference
  • Cancelation request if any must be emailed to at least 20 business days before the conference date.
  • All cancellations / refunds will incur 5% administration fee. This fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Given notice of at least 20 business days before the conference date, cancellation of single tickets will be entitled for 50% refund. Refunds are not provided for any cancellation received after this time or for non-attendance on the conference day.
  • Substitutions from the same organization are welcome at no additional fee. If a substitution is necessary, please email ahead of time or bring a written statement/email from the person who will not be attending to the on-site registration counter. This will help simplify the transfer process and expedite registration.
  • The Organiser reserves the right to cancel the event or substitute speakers. In the unlikely event that Organiser should have to cancel the ADC 2014, attendees will be refunded for the amount paid for the conference, but the organiser is not responsible for any attendees' other related expenses, including hotel and travel.
